Subject: Thanks for the good products

I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you how pleased I am with your products. I repaired a badly rotted 4 foot section of log on my log home this spring and your products (CPES and Layup/Laminating Resin) made the process much easier and cheaper than log replacement. I deviated slightly from your recommendations in that I filled the vacancy with the Layup/Laminating Resin and sawdust mixture with pieces of wood forming a vertical surface, nailed a piece of log siding coated with CPES on top of it, and filled any remaining space with more Layup/Laminating Resin and sawdust mixture and pieces of wood. This seemed to work better for me than trying to fully reconstruct the shape of the log and reusing the original log exterior. I also learned you have to be patient and take your time doing the work; this is not a weekend job. Again thanks for the help!!
