Subject: Beautiful result (porch columns)

I wanted you to know how pleased I am with the repair to several 6X6 turned porch columns, whose bases had been damaged by rot. The instructions for the use of the liquid epoxy and epoxy filler were clear and easily followed. I'll admit that I struggled a bit while applying the filler because I did not use a polyethylene sheet and the material tended to cling to the spatula and pull away from the repair area. Nonetheless, I left it overfilled a bit and, after sanding with my random orbital sander, primer and paint, the repair is invisible.
